UNTH Foundation Shines at the 111th CMDs National Annual Meeting in Enugu
October 14–16, 2025 marked a milestone for the UNTH Foundation as we proudly participated in the 111th National Annual Meeting of Chief Medical Directors (CMDs) of Federal Tertiary Hospitals, held at Best Western Hotel, Independence Layout, Enugu. The prestigious event was graciously hosted by Dr. Obinna Onodugo, CMD of UNTH Ituku-Ozalla, whose leadership and hospitality created the perfect environment for collaboration, innovation, and impact.
A Field Outing Rooted in Purpose
Our presence at the meeting was more than symbolic—it was strategic. The UNTH Foundation team engaged with top medical administrators from across Nigeria, sharing our mission to support indigent patients battling chronic illnesses such as sickle cell disease, cancer, kidney failure, and diabetes.
We showcased our flagship campaign, Health for Hope, and highlighted the transformative power of partnerships in delivering life-saving care to those who need it most. The outing provided a platform to strengthen relationships, explore new funding avenues, and align with national healthcare priorities.
