A Cry for Help: Urgent Appeal for Ms. CO
A CRY FOR HELP….. Let’s Save A Life
Ms. CO has been admitted at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Enugu, since February 2024. She’s battling a tumor in her left orbit—a condition so severe it has caused complete destruction of her left eye and is now progressing toward the right eye.
She was booked for tumor excision surgery on August 7, 2024, but the procedure was halted due to financial constraints. Ms CO has no family or friends to support her. She’s been left alone, in pain, and unable to afford the chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or surgery she desperately needs.
Her hospital bills have accumulated to over ₦2 million, and due to non-payment, her feeding and medications were stopped. We had to intervene by paying ₦200,000 just to reinstate her feeding and basic medications. However, we’re asking for more interventions.
