REPORT ON UNTH FOUNDATION’S COURTESY VISIT TO THE ZONAL DIRECTOR, FRCN ENUGU ON 9TH JULY, 2026
As part of its strategic partnership and visibility drive for 2026, the UNTH Foundation undertook a courtesy visit to the Zonal director, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN Enugu. The purpose of the visit was to introduce the mandate of the Foundation and explore areas of collaboration, with emphasis on leveraging FRCN’s media coverage to advance the Foundation’s programs for indigent patients, health advocacy, and fundraising.

OBJECTIVES OF THE VISIT
- To formally introduce the leadership and mandate of UNTH Foundation to FRCN, Enugu.
- To explore partnership for sustained media coverage of the Foundation’s activities and impact stories.
- To request free to air support for advocacy on indigent patient support, cancer awareness, and health fundraising campaigns.
- To discuss joint media project such as radio programs, public service announcement, and live coverage of Foundation events.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MEETING
The UNTH Foundation Leadership, Prof. Theresa Nwagha was received by the Zonal Director, FRCN, Enugu, and his management team.
Key Discussions:
- Foundation’s Mandate: The CEO briefed the Zonal Director on UNTH Foundation’s role in mobilizing resources to support indigent patients, upgrade hospital infrastructure and promote public health. Case studies of beneficiaries were shared to demonstrate impact.
- Media Partnership: The Foundation requested FRCN’s Collaboration in giving regular coverage to Foundation project, success stories, and appeals for support.
- FRCN’S Response: The Zonal Director commended the Foundation for its humanitarian work. He affirmed FRCN’s readiness to partner with UNTH Foundation through subsidized program cost.

FRCN Enugu accepted in principle to be the Foundation’s media partner for advocacy and visibility.

The courtesy visit to FRCN Enugu was successful and timely. Leveraging FRCN’s wide reach across the South-East will significantly amplify the Foundation’s advocacy, attract more donors, and increase public awareness of UNTH Foundation’s impact.
