On Thursday, October 9, 2025, a transformative humanitarian initiative will unfold at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Enugu. Through the ₦500 Million Southeast Humanitarian Medical Intervention Project, De Imperial Philanthropic Family—working in partnership with the UNTH Foundation—will bring relief, dignity, and renewed hope to indigent patients whose lives have been stalled by financial hardship.
What This Project Will Do:
- Pay off medical bills for patients whose treatments have been halted due to lack of funds
- Support patients discharged but unable to leave the hospital because they cannot afford transportation or post-care needs
- Sponsor patients awaiting life-saving procedures such as open-heart surgery
- Restore access to care for those who have lost it due to financial constraints
