Menstrual Hygiene Day Outreach at Ozalla High School Date: May 29, 2026

Yesterday, UNTH Foundation joined hands with Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness for a meaningful Menstrual Hygiene Day Outreach at Ozalla High School, Ozalla.

The day was filled with education, empathy, and real action on the ground. Our team spoke with students about menstrual health, proper hygiene practices, and dismantling the stigma that too often surrounds periods. We also drew the connection between menstrual wellness and mental health, because a girl who understands her body is better equipped to care for her whole self.

From the outreach:

  • Interactive sessions on cycle tracking, hygiene, and self-care
  • Open Q&A time where students asked questions freely and without shame
  • Distribution of sanitary pads and hygiene kits to support dignity in school

Proverbs 31:25 reminds us that “She is clothed with strength and dignity.” Our goal was to clothe these young girls with both knowledge and confidence.

We are grateful to the management, teachers, and students of Ozalla High School for the warm welcome they extended to our team. Deep gratitude also goes to every volunteer who gave their time and energy to make this outreach possible.

Together, we are building a future where no girl misses school because of her period.
